Happy 1st Birthday Connor

January 26th Connor turned 1! We decided to have all of our family over for cake and ice cream and to watch Connor try to eat the cake. We had a full house, but it was a blast! It is awesome having everyone live so close.

I made Connor a yummy breakfast. He got an egg and a big pancake w/ jam on it. He ate the entire thing! I guess he was hungry!


David made Connor's birthday cake. He is the cook in our family and he does a much better job than I could ever do! It is a Pirate cake!


We put Connor's mini cake in front of him and he just stared at it. He wouldn't touch it. Being the nice mom I am, I picked it up and smashed it in his face. After a small taste of that frosting, he finally decided he would try some.


Here he is...finally eating some cake!


Connor got some fun presents. His cousin Andrew is 5 months older, so many of the toys were interesting to him too. I think it will be fun to watch them grow up together. Thank you all for the presents!
