8 Fun Facts

So...I've been tagged by Amy. Here are 8 facts about me:

1. I love peanut butter and cheese. They are the best foods in the world! For some reason my favorite foods have always been condiment type things. For awhile my favorites were ranch dressing and mustard. I know, its weird.

2. I love reality t.v. I am hooked. It is sad but true. Any new reality show that comes on just draws me in. I need help. Some of the ones I watch are Survior, American Idol, Bachelor, So You Think You Can Dance, Dancing w/ the Stars, Big Brother (just this season because Kail from Oregon was on it), Americas Got Talent, American Inventor, and lots of others.

3. I love to sleep. Im sure everyone does sometimes, but I love to sleep as much as possible. It is horrible. I take at least two naps a day. People always told me to take naps when the baby does, and now I am addicted to it.

4. I think I have a mild case of OCD. Kim used to tell me that in High School and I think it is true. These are some things I do: I have to have all the drawers in my room shut before I go to sleep, If David kisses me on one cheek I usually ask him to kiss me on the other one just to even it out, I have to have the t.v. volume at an interval of 5, when I am at school everything has to be lined up and parallel (books and paper and pencils all have to be perfectly straight), and when I walk on the sidewalk I have to step over even cracks w/ each foot.

5. I love Sugar!

6. I am a cuddler. I have always liked cuddling. I still cuddle w/ my mom and dad from time to time. I also cuddle w/ my Grandpa Durfee everytime he visits. Luckily I had a baby who likes to cuddle. I don't know what I would do if he didn't like it!

7. I don't like acting my age. I think it is so fun to be immature. I know there is a time and place for everything, but for me, the time and place is usually perfect to act like I am 13. I love it. I giggle and act airheaded and dance around and am just goofy. It is so much fun. The best part is that my mom is the same way. I have so much fun w/ her. We sing along to Connor's car CD's with really kiddy songs even when Connor isn't with us. We have a blast being best friends. (Don't be "friends" w/ your kids until they are grown up! Be parents! Once they are grown you can be best friends! That is what happened w/ my mom and I! I love it. )

8. I squeeze the tooth paste from the middle and David hates it. There are so many things that I compromise on that I am not going to budge on this one! It wouldn't be hard to squeeze from the bottom like he wants me to...but I don't want to. I like that it bugs him! Is that bad? (I love David!)

Lindsay you are too funny. I can just picture you in your OCD mode, especially making David kiss you on both cheeks to even it out. Plus I relate to the squeeze the toothpaste in the middle thing. Dave hates that too and for a long time I didn't change it. But alas, old marriage made me be nicer to him...ha ha. Besides there are lots of other things I tease him about so I guess I owed him.

ha ha you are so funny! I squeeze from the middle, too, but fortunately wade is such a hog that he could care less. But it always makes my brother angry, so whenever I get the chance to be near his toothpaste (and I try to be as often as possible), I have to squeeze it right in the middle and make sure that equal amounts of paste are on each side of the squeeze. Then I squeal with delight when I hear him hollering like a stuck pig about his abused toothpaste tube! good times :)

I solved the toothpaste dilemma by buying a tube for each of us... works like a charm! We also don't share cold germs now (well, as much anyway!)

haha- ok first of all- I have gotten worse and worse every year with reality shows. I get so addicted. I even watched Age of Love. it's so pathetic and disgusting- a 30 year old dating 10 40-50 year olds and 10 20 year olds, but I love it! And my husband acts like he doesn't like it but I know he does. OK- the OCD- my sister has OCD and takes meds for it. Lindsay, you have OCD! that is really funny- well- it probably drives you crazy, but you know what I mean- it's just funny how certain things are for us.I have ocd in a different way. Like, if I see a movie that disturbs me, I will think about it all day long, and I have to conciously try to think of other things to get it out of my head, and it can last up to a year ATLEAST, everything will remind me of the movie. this has happened with 2 movies. and you would think I am crazy if I told you what movies they are. I laugh about it now- but it has taken me years....but now when I think about it I think its funny. But I still have to be very cautious of what I watch. I love to sleep. It's really hard for me to wake up in the morning, I will sleep until 1 if I can. and I'll get tired in the day and can take a 3-4 hour nap, sometimes twice a day, I hate it, I wish I were one of those people that was always energetic, but I'm always so tired. I'm so scared what I'll be like when I have kids becaue I know everyone gets so tired. well- its 2 in the morning- so i'm off to bed- it was fun reading your facts.
