Scary Fun With Daddy

Connor and David got to play outside today. They had lots of fun. Although their playing techniques look a little scary, Connor likes them most of the time. Today he really enjoyed it!
Look how high he gets. I can't believe I take the picture instead of yelling at David. Luckily I trust him!

Ahhhhh!

Connor loves being upside down. Don't ask me why. He must have been a bat in a past life!

umm, I'm scared for Connor! I would kill Brett if he threw Livie up in the air like that! I'm just a scaredy cat though I guess!

That is such a father son thing. Dave used to do that a lot. He tended to be a little more careful with the girls but they still got to fly! Does Connor laugh when David does that?

I think I'd have a heart attack. What if he missed? Please tell him to be careful with Connor's arms... they can dislocate really easily. Tim was holding a little boys hand once who didn't want to hold an adult hand and he pulled away until his arm dislocated. It was horrible. That's when we learned (from the doc) that swinging by the arms (putting all the body weight into those little arms) isn't always a great idea. Just a thought.

Tracey, he doesn't laugh much at all! We have only heard a laugh out of him about 3 times. He does smile alot though. It depends on how he is feeling. Yesterday he loved it and was smiling away.
Karen, thanks for the warning. We don't do it much. It is weird though because Connor doesn't let his arms just hang. He always flexes his bicepts and keeps his arms bent, so a lot of the strain is taken away from his shoulders. We will be careful though.

Yikes! It scares the daylights out of me to see a baby thrown so high up. Jill's husband who is an amazon in height throws Byron and Lucy up like that and all I can say is Thank God we have vaulted ceilings. Still scares me but I am a scaredy cat.

That is so stinkin' adorable! He's having so much fun! And his little green shoes--I LOVE THEM!!! Sorry, but I'm ridiculously obsessed with baby shoes. Byron barely wore any of the 543 pairs I bought him--his feet were too huge and too fat. Connor's a little doll--what a good-looking little boy!
