No Place Like Home For The Holidays!

Just thought I would put up a few pictuers of our Christmas decor. It is hard to show everything in pictures though! Maybe I will do a video.


This is our fireplace. I am so excited we actually have a real fireplace to hang stockings from (we need another stocking). The area above the fireplace is supposed to be for the TV, but since we have an entertainment center, we didn't use it for that. It is a nice place to display decorations. Forgive the black cable cord in the background. It is the only cable outlet, and since we don't have our TV there, we had to run a long cable cord to the TV on the other side of the room. Annoying!!


I just got this pillow decoration from my Grandma Stephens. I thought it was super cute! See the penguin? Well, I have kinda started a penguin theme. I have a little plush penguin by the tree, a new penguin ornament (from daddy) and a cute holiday rug w/ penguins.

David is hard at work getting the tree ready. What a wonderful husband!


Here is the finished product. I am so happy to finally have a tree up. I know those reindeer are supposed to be in the yard...but we don't have one! I thought I would put them next to the tree. Oh, and you can see the little plush penguin on the side of the tree too! I love Christmas time!
