Connor had his one year doctor appointment last Friday. Everyone has been commenting on his big belly and the fact that he is getting husky. At his 9 month appointment, he was only in the 6th percentile for weight, which shocked me. I thought the doctor had said the 60th percentile, but I double checked and it was the 6th...crazy.I thought he would be a little bigger this time, and most people thought he would be a LOT bigger. Here are the results:
Weight; 20lbs, the 10th percentile (he is still a little one!)
Height; 30.5 inches, the 68th percentile
I guess he gets his Daddy's genes, because Connor eats like an elephant, but he stays relatively skinny. Of course if he were born 30 years ago he would probably be in the 40 or 50th percentile. I think babies are just a heck of a lot fatter now...the nurse agreed.

What a cutie pie! Did you have fun celebrating his birthday? How's the family?
He looks like such a big boy in that second picture!
Wow, Liv is just 3 lbs heavier and 1 inch taller... They are almost exactly the same but Liv is 6 months older! Boys in general I think are bigger with more mass, maybe that's why Connor is in the low percentiles for weight.. He's just petite!
He is so cute! He doesn't look so big to me....I think you should put him next to Byron. Ask Jill. I haven't seen such a large kid in a long time. Anyway I think he looks just the right size. Oh, and adorable too!
Why in the heck do people think he looks husky??? I know I have never seen Conner in person, but he does not look abnormally big in any way! He looks perfectly normal sized to me, but maybe that's because I give birth to moose babies...I don't know! But Byron has only been in the 85th percentile for weight one time, the rest of the time he's between 90 to 95th in weight and height! Consider yourself lucky you don't have to lug around a half-grown man!!! :) he he!
