Fun Times

Here is a little update on life as Lindsay Marchant. School is good. I have only three more days this term. After Wednesday I am done and have two and a half weeks off before I go to my last placement for student teaching (April-June). I am so excited, but I love the Kindergarten students and the teacher I am with now. It has been a great experience.
Connor is still doing great. He copies everything. He loves to mimic everyone he sees. He is trying to say animal sounds and is now a professional kisser...open mouth no less. Kids these days move way to fast! heehee.

We were able to go to the Willamalane swimming pool on Friday night. We met David's brother Alan, wife Tina and son Andrew (about Connor's age). We had lots of fun. Connor is ready to go swimming in this picture. He is wearing the swim shorts that Grandma and Grandpa Durfee got him for Christmas. I love it. Especially with his big belly hanging over the edge! We took Connor down the slide and he HATED it. He cried all the way down with me, so being the nice mommy that I am, I had daddy take him too. He HATED it with daddy too! He isn't in love with the water at the swimming pool. I think it is too cold. It was funny because Andrew loved the slide. He probably went down at least twelve times. Because Tina is eight months pregnant, David took Andrew down a few times. It is funny how different the two little boys are.

Family picture! I hate that we don't get many family pictures. I am always the one taking the pictures, and when I am not...David is. I asked Tina to take a picture for us. It is one of the only pictures we have of all three of us. I need to remember to take more!

Connor and I met Grandma Durfee and Great Grandma Stephens for breakfast at Fins Drive-In on Saturday. They have the best breakfast. Everyone should try it, especially the French Toast (my fav). Connor loved it, of course! He is getting better at holding a fork and feeding himself. I have to put the food on the fork for him, but he can do the rest.

I had to take a picture of this! Kacy (my little sister) and her friend Ashley were going to Winter Formal. The theme was "Under The Sea" and they were attempting to dress up like fish. I am guessing they were trying to be Scuttle from the Little Mermaid?? It was a costume dance, Duh! Right when we put Connor in Kacy's arms he started screaming. I knew he wasn't a big fan of water, but I didn't know he hated fish too.

I am having my primary class over for a party on Saturday (8-11 year olds). I am very excited. I love teaching the kids in my class. We have some crazy boys, but they are lots of fun. I love them all. I will post some pictures of the party...if I remember.

hahaha, Kacy is a funny fish. Poor Connor- I'd be scared too! Connor is growing up!! I can't believe Tina is 8 months prego-I heard a Dr. say that to little toddlers when new babies are brought home it is like your husband brought home a new wife. JEALOUSY! I hope everything goes well for them because I have a feeling it won't be easy!
