Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss
Today...well, yesterday was Dr. Seuss's birthday. In my Kindergarten class we made the cutest hats to celebrate. I just had to bring one home for Connor. Did he like the hat?? I'll let you be the judge. Hopefully he will warm up to Dr. Seuss in the future ;).
“I have heard there are troubles of more than one kind. Some come from ahead and some come from behind. But I've bought a big bat. I'm all ready you see. Now my troubles are going to have troubles with me!”

LOL! That's funny. You're right, that hat is awesome! The whole Dr. Seuss thing w/the hats sounds like so much fun. I'm know you're doing awesome w/your student teaching....those kids are sure lucky, but Connor is definitely the luckiest!
I love Dr. Seuss and all of the stories. I read them to the grandchildren all the time. The hats really turned out cute....well maybe Connor didn't think so right now. But I bet he will in the future.
Seeing school projects like this and hearing about Dr. Seuss's bday make me miss teaching - well I don't miss it enough to go back though! Sound like you're having fun with the first graders!
Oops...I meant Kindergartners
Cute hats!! How did you make them?
