Sick of Being Sick

Hello World. It has been awhile hasn't it?? I don't have any pictures of our house still! I would have, but I have been a little under the weather we could say. I have not done dishes, laundry, or any house cleaning for weeks. In fact, I still have piles of boxes that need to be unpacked from moving in the beginning of December. It is so depressing. Luckily, it is for a good cause. The picture you see below may explain a lot. I am wearing a very nice gas mask thingy. You may be wondering why. Well, the other day, David decided to make something with hamburger meat and the smell made me so sick. It was nice we still had the mask from painting, because it did the trick! I had to wear it for over an hour. Connor cried for awhile because he thought I was a monster, but he got over it.
I have been sick sick sick. So, what makes someone sick for weeks at a time? You may have guessed it. Were Pregnant! Yippie. I hope I can enjoy this news soon. I really wish I would have written down how long I was sick with Connor because then I may know how long this torture will last. It is so nice to have family to help me, because poor Connor never gets any attention from me. I feel so bad. He is such a sweet boy. Usually I feel bad all day until it builds up and I throw up each night. Today I had the luck of throwing up right as I woke up too. This may gross you out, but with nothing in my stomach I dry heaved for quite awhile and then threw up stomach acid. It was awesome...not! Anyway, Connor heard me (David was already gone for work) and came to the rescue. He said, "Mommy throw up?" I told him I was throwing up. He then walked over to me and said "Connor rub Mommy's back," and rubbed my back until I finished. I am so lucky to have such an amazing little boy. I hope I can play with him soon.
This picture describes what I look like much of the time. Miserable! The other night I was laying in bed and David was downstairs. I yelled to him "David, please bring up a bowl." I just knew I would need it. When he came upstairs, Connor called him into his room. Connor coughed twice and then in a whiney voice said, "Daddy...I need a bowl." It was so cute. I couldn't help but smile before using the bowl. ;)
I am 11 weeks and a few days. My due date is August 12th. We are excited, but we all can't wait until I am better. David is so good to help me. I am really like a slave driver and I whine all the time. I can't believe he is still so nice to me. I am really blessed.

Congrats on the news of a new little Marchant! What a great reason to be sick (not many times we can say that). Hope you get feeling better soon.

Congrats! I totally understand about the sick thing! You are so lucky to have so much family to help you! Have you tried "preggie pops" (they're really just hard candy)? They're the only thing that barely eased my nausea (but when you're super sick even a little helps). They're at Motherhood. I hope you feel better soon!

Bless your heart! I was thinking about you this morning and wondering if all was well. Yay! All is well...except for the throwing up and sick part, anyway. I don't know if it's any consolation but I was sick for about 3, maybe 4 months with each kiddo. Therefore, if you're anything like me you should be nearly finished! Yay again!

Finally, that mask just cracked me up! I think that may a potential marketing idea.

Anyway, congratulations!!!!! I am so excited for you.

Sorry about being so sick, With Kadee I was sick the ENTIRE pregnancy but with Kloe it lasted about 6 months so I would like to think that with each one it gets better and doesnt last as long. so hopefully youre about done! If you need anything let me know. Im home all day so if you are too sick to watch conner give me a call the girls would love to have a friend over!

I must say I know how you are feeling. I was sick for 14 straight weeks but got some medicine from my doctor so I could be alive for my kids. After I have my baby, I'd be more than happy to come over and help out, even though I don't know where you live. LOL. Until then I'm not allowed to do much, sorry. Good luck, love ya,
