Sorry for the delay, but things have been busy and Lindsay has been laid up in bed. So, I as the wonderful husband that I am, will pacify all of you that are waiting patiently or not. So here he is. Colby Glenn Marchant, born on August 6th, 2009 at 7:49 am. 7 pounds, 19 3/4 inches.
He even came out ready to have his footprints taken. They said it was the first time that had ever happened.
Doesn't he look so happy to be a big brother. He only held him here for about 15 seconds.
It is amazing how much easier it is to schedule a c-section. We arrived at 5am and we were in our room and waiting for all of the pre-op prep. After a few attempts at an IV, 4 to be exact. They finally got it to stick. Then it was on to the spinal and after only a few minutes we had a baby. It is much easier to get the baby out, but the downfall is the pain and recovery for the next few weeks. Hope you enjoy the pictures and we will be posting some more pictures soon. The most important part is that they are both healthy, happy and doing well.
