I saw the most beautiful sunset today! It was pink and purple and so bright (the picture is not the actual sunset I saw). I stared at it for a long time...probably too long since I was driving at the time. I was hit with awe at the love our Heavenly Father and Jesus have for us. They give us so many things, including the beautiful sunsets. It was an experience! Then, a song came on the radio. It is an average song. It is by Shania Twain, called "From This Moment". The song is supposed to be a love song, but since I was thinking about the Savior and his love for me, I applied the song to the Savior, and I really felt the spirit. I know it may sound weird, but it was awesome. I remember one time, Bishop (Casey) Westover taught a fireside (he wasn't the bishop yet) about music and how music today isn't always bad. We listened to "Everything I Do" by Brian Adams. While we were listening to the song, we were looking at a picture of Christ. The spirit was so strong, just like it was while I was driving in my car. Sometimes I need those moments, and I am thankful that I was able to feel the spirit so strong!

I totally remember that. Songs are much sweeter thinking of the Savior rather than some lovers somewhere! Our Savior does love us and blesses us so much.

I remember this fireside too, and it was awesome! Like everyone else said, I remember it every time I hear the Brian Adams song, and I expect I'll here the Shania Twain one differently now too.
