Connor loves helping Daddy!

I just love Summer! It is so nice to be able to be out of the house. We have loved it this summer especially because we finally have a yard that is not just dirt and weeds. We have been spending a lot of time outdoors, gardening, doing yard work, cutting and stacking our wood pile (I am SO glad that project is done), having BBQ s, roasting marshmallows, and playing in the pool.

The boys are loving summer time too. Colby has no fear. He loves swimming, even in cold hose water only minutes old, crawling on grass and concrete, and eating dirt and grass. We cannot simply set him somewhere and expect him to stay. As soon as we turn our heads, he is eating something that should not be eaten.

Connor is so full of life. He wants to be just like Daddy. We are so glad his Great Grandma Nanny got him some kid yard tools. He is always helping us with his rake, shovel, hoe and wheelbarrow. It is so cute. He is also the best kid dancer I have ever seen. He loves dancing. He is also loving that he can play sports in the backyard. He is an excellent little baseball player. He can hit the ball about 1/2 the time! He has a great little batter stance too.

I am so glad we still have 2 months of summer to go!
