Bedroom Remix

My 23rd Birthday was last month. I asked my Mom and Grandma Stephens if they could help me decorate my room for my birthday. For the last three years our room has been mix and match items. Now I am happy to report that it is cute! David and I have been looking at Comforters in catelogs for awhile now. We both agreed that we wanted blue and brown. I am so happy to finally have it! Eventually (years from now), when we buy a bedroom furnature set the room will look even better!

This is the dresser area. My mom got the picture on the wall for me (I went shopping w/ her of course). My grandma had made the flower arrangement for our wedding and it matches perfectly. The temple picture was already on the wall. The jewelry box on my dresser was my sister's. She was going to give it to Goodwill so I snatched it. Finally, the chair is a $10 garage sale purchase that David recovered. It matches our furniture in the family room, but there is no room for it downstairs.

I love the little candle and holder. Momma got that for me too. I have had this picture tree since my wedding and I love it! It has been on my hopechest for three years but I still haven't put pictures in it. Lame...I know.

I love this! It hangs above our bed (No, we do not light the candles. They are decorations!). My Mom got this stuff for me too. We went to Ross and TJ Max and found a bunch of cute decorations.

This is the nightstand next to David's side of the bed. Mom got me the sticks w/ pearls on them. The rest of this stuff I found around the house.

I am very happy with the way the room turned out. It is a nice place to spend time in now. It is simple and relaxing! Thanks Mom and Grandma. I love you!
