Connor and Colby
Connor is already in LOVE with his baby brother Colby...at least the doll version of Colby! My Grandma Stephens got Connor a little doll to get ready for the new baby. Once Connor found out we were going to name his little brother Colby, he named his doll "baby Colby." Since then, baby Colby is always in Connor's thoughts. He sleeps with Colby, plays with Colby and even tries to share breakfast waffles with Colby. Right after he got a waffle, he split it in two pieces and gave half to Colby right away. It is so cute, and he tries to be so careful with his baby. He will often say "I need to proteck baby Colby." He is ready for the big brother thing and I think he will do a great job!

Based off the way he was with A today, he will be a great big brother. You may never get a chance to hold Colby if Connor has anything to say about it.
Watching siblings explore life together gives new meaning to motherhood. I'm so excited for you!
How sweet!!!! I love it! Conner is such a sweet little boy. He will be a GREAT big brother! We, too, got Andrew a baby in preperation for his baby sister. Let's just say he wasn't as sweet and gentle to that baby as Conner is. Andrew would set the baby on the bookshelf or couch, and then swing his arm and knock the baby off onto the floor. Then he'd walk over to it, bend down and say, "You OK?" before repeating the process over and over. needless to say, it was absoluly histerical. Thankfully, he was much more gentle with Ellie, than the doll.
My little boys also had a little girl doll before Haylee got here. They are great big brothers.
I think Connor is a keeper! He looks SOO sweet.
