Christmas Happenings

Here are some of our Christmas happenings. Enjoy...though not necessarily in order!

Connor and his pre-school friends (Me and 4 other mom's kids) got to do a nativity skit. It was great. Connor got to be Joseph and E. was Mary.

Here are a few more kiddos (minus one who was up and moving around)
E. as Mary, Connor as Joseph, V. as an Angel, and E. as a Shepherd.

Our Christmas Tree!

On Christmas Eve we had a great time! We went to Splash during the day (the boys loved that)! Connor even went down the slide a few times all by himself! Next we went and got pizza for dinner. We stopped by Nanny's house (my grandma) and Connor received a surprise gift of 2 fish and 2 crab! He thinks they are pretty neat! We talked a little about Jesus and read some scriptures and off to be the boys went.

Our home teacher, Brother Knerr, brought us a Ginger Bread Cookie to decorate. We left it for Santa.

Santa sure was hungry! The boys surveyed the damaged and then added to it!

My mom did a great family Christmas program a few days before Christmas. We got this Nativity Scene coloring page. We all had fun coloring it together.

CHRISTMAS MORNING!!
Connor wanted a Remote Control Car "with a fast speed button and a slow button and a stop button". Santa must have been listening!

He has also been asking for rain boots so he can puddle jump!

Colby didn't care too much for the toys Santa got him (at the time),
but he enjoyed his stocking!

Daddy did a good job of helping Colby!

Both boys got sleeping bags too! What lucky kids!

Next...Off to Grandma and Grandpa Durfee's house
My parents have a life size Santa that sings and dances. Though apprehensive at first, the boys ALL love it. They are always pushing his button so they can dance, dance, dance!

We had everyone home but Hailey! We really miss her! It was nice to have my Grandpa and Grandma Durfee! They got the boys pillow pets (something Connor has been asking for too!)

One of the things we got my parents was a picture calendar!

And Finally...off to Grandma and Grandpa Marchant's house we went...
We were able to get the kids in some nativity costumes that Sheryl made! The kids are too young to really act out anything (Connor was the oldest there at 3). Poor Andrew was sick and didn't get to come over. We all felt so bad for him.

Leslie, Blair, David and I got (made) Sheryl aprons for Christmas. One for her (yellow), and one for each of the grandkids. She loves to cook with them. Andrew (purple), Connor (green), Brooke (pink), Colby (orange), Nyah (red) and Michael (blue). Leslie did all the sewing...I just helped cut and pin. They turned out great and she loved them!

RANDOM...

My boys are great helpers. They help me take the clothes out of the dryer and put them on the couch to fold. Colby takes an item and passes it to Connor who takes it to the couch. They have so much fun helping together.

Colby (who we call Mayhem), has a new favorite spot. The Toy Box! Don't you love the brotherly love??

Daddy and Connor made a fort. Connor took a nap in it.

Pretty good fort eh?

Here is a picture from our ward Christmas party! It was fun, but Connor was a little scared to take a picture with Santa. Like my tacky Christmas Sweater?

We had a great holiday and feel so blessed!
Life is awesome!

Love the sweater Lindsay! It looks suspiciously familiar... I was wondering what the gingerbread man would look like decorated. I can only imagine why Santa didn't want to eat the whole thing ;) I love all the traditions and things you guys did for the holidays. I want to be a Durfee/Marchant too!
